Air Exchange

Just a quick question about my friend's setup......she uses a 10 gallon tank with a plexi-glass top....for humidity and fresh air two 3/4 inch pvc tubes were added through the lid...these are connected via plastic tubing to a cool mist humidifier with filters over air intake..... will the humidifier keep c02 from building up? or does she need to add holes on bottom for ventillation??

i dont think the humidifier will take care of the co2 prob completely, just manually air the terrarium. thats what i do.
