I watch it religiously, I have my favorite chefs. I like the old asian series better than this american one. the american one has bobby flay and he is a prick, plus what happened to wolfgang puck? if he was chef instead of flay, it woud rock. morimoto, puck, and batali, that's asian, american, and european all in one building.

man back when i used to watch tv iron chef was one of the shows i watched religiously... i LOVE that show.

Iron Chef RULZ!! I mean the old Asian series. The voice-overs were, like, %50 of the fun.

..um, yes, Morimoto is using an unusual technique to melt the sugar.

Hmmm... The coloring is appealing, but I don't really like the texture.

Iron Chef america is the sucks, but the original ones are awesome.

I have tons and tons of the jap iron chefs on VCDs.  I love watching them and getting stoned :smile:.

Michiba and Sakyai are my favorites.

Yeah that show is nuts...Takeshi Kaga (sp?) has to be one of the craziest people i've ever seen. Have you seen the episode where they were testing wine and all got a little drunk?  :lol:

God damn iron chef's the best!! The american one's cool, but doesn't have the quirky japanese feel to it. Not to metion the voice overs which just own.

Does anyone know if there's like iron chef dvd's or a box set I can find somewhere? I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

And yeah, watching iron chef stoned is key. Not to mention torture. :grin:
