does anyone know where i could find one of thies, there like the things the doctor uses when he shoots up the needles, i think thoes would work great for cultures

Nope.

New they are sterile inside & contain a vaccum.

Once used, if you wish, wash & PC

I think the limiting factor here is that you can not open it up and select one sector of the mycelium which I believe is the biggest reason for agar petri preparations.

they are well suited for spore storage and once the vacuum is broken you can use them as culture tubes, as I culture tube, I recomend distilled water storage as opposed to agar.

Bigger containers are better for liquid cultures. Simply because you have more.

Regarding the use of these w/ karo tek - isn't gas exchange necessary?

If these are vacuum sealed, then I don't see how gas exchange could occur through the self-healing material.

Am I missing something?
