Again you are spewing lies here is the whole post and nowhere does he sey that anyone was on a board from the dea.
Currently i goto a university 2 hours away from home, i moved back in about 3 weeks ago for the new semester. I had a small terrarium in my room with only 3 cakes. I also had about a 1/2 ounce of dried shrooms in my desk in my room. I sold about 12 grams of dried shrooms to 2 of my pretty good buddies about 4 days ago. Well i got home from school and there was a car parked in front of my place with 3 guys in it. I started to walk into my apartment when one guy yelled my name. I walked over to the car and he asked me to have a seat. Im like whats up? He then said that i am being arrested for cultivation and illegal distributuion of a controlled substance. They then had a search warrant to search my apt. They asked me to sign it, and i agreed knowingly im screwed. I went up to my room with them. I handed them the other bag of shrooms that i had knowing they would find them. They found my terrarium and took that along with some vicadin i had and a smoking peice too. I was handcuffed and brought to the station. They questioned me for 3 hours. They have been investigating me for the past 3 monthes. I have no clue how. They wont tell me anything besides they know alot about me. I was so scared. Im a senior in College, 23 years old with my whole life ahead of me. They got me for 2 felony charges. I was looking at about a year in jail and about 10,000$ in fines. Well after many cooperative hours with the DEA. They gave me some options. They told me if i could help them out with information leading to the arrest of someone dealing ecstasy or cocaine, they would drop the charges and let me go. I was ready to do anything!!! I carefully thought through people i know that were dealing and with some more thought i remembered someone who i got some rolls from last semester. So basically im working for the DEA for awhile until they feel i have helped enough for them not to process the charges against me. I cant beleive im sitting here typing this right now. i should be behind bars. I still dont know who narked me out, or how they knew so much. Let me just tell everyone here that it is NOT worth it. I will never attempt to grow again. After being were i was at i never want to go through that again. Know one knows how they found out but they did! I live in a college town and i thought with so many people no one would know. i was so WRONG!

All the dude did was bring up some issues that were concerning him. God knows I've done the same thing a mililon times. I have no idea what the guy's motives were for Whatever his motives were for raising these concerns, but judging from this one thread, the attitude here stinks. I wonder how many of you paid attention to his concerns before you jumped down his throat for attacking your home.
There are serious issues at stake here. 1. Do donators receive special treatment?
It's a legitimate question. Are they entitled to special treatment? Yes. Anyone who is willing to finance or help out with the technical aspects of this site is automatically going to receive the esteem of those who truely care for this place. We all want to see the community improve and the bottom line is money helps. Now, if some troll comes along with nothing to do but bash a user who has contributed to the site, whose side do you expect the mods to take? The bottom line is moderating is not a science. It's judgement calls and the mods are asked to keep shit in line to the best of their ability. People who have been here longer and have gained respect, through any avenue are going to get the benefit of the doubt more often than not. That's just the way it goes.
2. Does censorship go on at the Shroomery?
I hope to God not. All the spore vendors should get the same oppurtunity to defend their business. If a moderator prefers one vendor to another, he should be allowed to express that opinion, but no threads should be closed by a vendor that a moderator doesn't like unless it is a violation of the flaming laws. That way, everyone is guarenteed a fair shake.
If, however, someone does nothing but cause shit, he should be considered a problem-poster and dealt with. But even this stipulation can tend to get tricky when a moderator is deciding on who a problem poster is.
This place is nooot a dictatorship. Thor and 3d are two good people who will act in what they consider the best interest of the site. This place does not exist to serve as a flamepit for a bitter spore vendor who can't figure out that the reason no one orders from him is because he's an asshole.
Basically, Ares, don't think that Thor and 3d aren't doing the best job that they know how. I think they've been doing a pretty damn good one.
But that doesn't mean that the rest of you have to come to their defense by flaming or censoring someone who isn't afraid to rock the boat a little bit. The dude was concerned, had some questions, and wanted a clearer picture of what goes on here. When you are on the outside (no access to the Moderator Forum), shit doesn't make a whole lot of sense all the time.. That's why threads like these are an oppurtunity to reassure the more skeptical-minded members of the commnunity that we are doing the best job that we know how.
I know it's fun to jump aboard a "knock the newbie" flame wagon and that it feels like the right thing to do because your intentions are good, but all it is is a bunch of yelling and screaming and none of the issues get addressed.
