aztec poem

for sleep we come,
for dreams.

Lie! It is a lie.
We come to live on the Earth.

As a weed we become
each springtime,

swell green, our hearts
open,

the body makes a few flowers
and drops away withered somewhere.

Sounds like eastern mysticism.
Funny that it was written in the west.
I bet much is lost in the translation.

yea..seems like a lot is lost in translation however you can still get the big picture...The Aztecs have always interested me, especially since my last couple of trip have been dominated by aztec designs and pictures.
