Casing starting to pin, should I mist?
    #3775250 - 02/13/05 07:50 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

So the grow I started literally four months ago is finally coming to a close, and I'm psyched. The pinset looks wonderful, with most of the casing layer all covered up. I don't know if the moisture is right, though. If I can see condensation all over the inside of the tub and even a little on the loaf pans my casings are in do I need to mist?

I'm headin over my foaf's apt to take photos now and just need to know if I should touch em up while i'm there. Leaning towards no, but all the extra volume has to be sucking water out of the substrate and casing layers

If the pins are set then light misting will be no problemo.

^^. Gotta think the things are 92% water. Micro drops gently falling on their surface should help them squishy things

I know what strikes me as odd about this. It is totally unnatural. The whole idea is just totally backwards.

So are historians going to look back at 'The Great Cake Eaters'? Damn. That was a backwards step in the evolutionary process. We left Shroomheads in the dust. Welcome to the new age of Vermheads.

I ONLY STUDY legal, edible mushrooms and mycology. Any mention of any other kind of mushroom is purely fictional, and pictures are ripped from the internet. I do not grow mushrooms!
