EDIT --- the xvid codec can be found here for win32 here for mac and the movie has been edited with Vivaldi :c) ----------------------------------------------------- Righto -- I learned my lesson last time! I made a timelapse of some PF cakes growing and this time not only did I make it an AVI (you'll need the xvid codec ) but I have it hosted on a high speed connection!
YESSS http://www.h3ostudios.com/skitch/files/shroomlapse.avi Enjoy! Madam_Shroombutt
PS the glass kept fogging at night when I was away and unable to air out the terrarium so I apologize for the brief periods of fog, I cut out the worst frames but that only helps so much. Thanks!

Where do you get the x-vid codex? That site is useless unless you are a programmer. I don't know how to compile raw code into a codex installer.
Why would you use a generic generic...
Div-X is generic and crappy DVD... X-Vid is generic and crappy Div-X... (I understand that it is free, so is AVI, MPG, QT, and WMA.)
I would realy have loved to see it, but I am sure I can live without it. I refuse to install another garbage codex that will possibly mess my system up more than Div-X has.
Post again if you decide to use a better format, or at least a real one. (Not "REAL", that is even worse than GIF, LOL.)

Are you making shit up again? Stop complaining, Xvid is suitable and easy to use.

If you give me a second I'll upload the codec to the site as well and provide a direct link.
BTW divX is NOT a crappy dvd, its an AVI compression format for people who want to distribute files on the internet or otherwise make movies small. DVD's use mpg2 which is as lossless as possible making huge ass files that look perfect.
Xvid is an open source divx (minus the adware, spyware, and corporate BS). Sheesh. I'll get the link up in a second, and I also have an update for the main movie. (I added music, it was missing something) So hold your pants on.
