Better substrates?

My spores just came in and i need some ideas for a good substrate for EQ creeper and golden teacher.Shoul di just use brown rice flour perlite and vermiculite?

use Wild Bird Seed then. IF you wanna case it use it straight up, if you wanna make cakes then id recommend grinding it into flour and doing it as a PF tek

where does this perlite come in? are you talking about for fruiting? and for your first grow i recomend th PF-Tek (go find it if you dont already have it)

Im going to make cakes.Casing is just letting it sit in the bottom of the fruiting chamber correct?

no thats not casing, go read up on casing. alright just checking about the perlite. and once again try the pf-tek for your first time easy to start with.

using a bag with wild bird seed, one of my mushrooms was about 90grams at harvest
it was about 11" long
