Help: mycobags, short and simple answer.

which bag? corn? straw? rye? I have been going crazy over this.
Also, how do i know which strains grow on which? could anyone give some examples?
like straw+b+ or anything? what i fear because i'm on a low budget is buying the wrong bag for the wrong strain of psyclobin.
Thank you for your help, please PM me or post here. I know many say "search the forums" or the grow logs... but i have for hours over the last few months and have had no luck. thanks for your time

strains dont matter, they are all the same species. You will want to get rye bags if you want to fruit from. If you want to use the grains to spawn bulk poo/straw use corn or birdseed.

so pick a syringe, then pick a rye bag? it seems mycobags does not sell a rye bag.
none of these would work with psyclobin if all i did was add the syringe?
http://www.mycobag.com/merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=M&Category_Code=MBLG
or are one of these similiar to rye?

ah i see, then out of those, you must pick corn. Wood wont work for cubensis and straw wont germinate spores. Corn will. Good luck.

i think i answered my own question, it should be grain for ecuador. so my plan will be one bag of grain + 1 syringe of ecuador pscylobin syringe.
that or do i get the rye bag? or corn bag? from mycobag. lol i think i confused myself

If you want a fast grower I suggest Cambodian or Amazon. Do some research on the strains, see what info each of the shroomeries sponsors gives on each strain. They usually have pics if its a good site.

You can make your own by ordering autoclavable bags from http://www.mycosupply.com/cgi-bin/shopper.cgi?preadd=action&key=SBFP01 at 10 bags for $6.75. Then goto a pet/feed store and buy some WBS for really cheap. Read the WBS teks.
Fill your bag, PC at 15 psi for 1 hr, or 10 psi for 1:30. Use isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol or lysol anti-bac wipes or something similar to disinfect the site(s) you want to inject. Disinfect needle and plunge it through the plastic and inject anywhere from 1-5 ccs depending on the size of the bag and how fast you want them to grow. Cut off a piece of ducttape (2" or so) and disinfect the center of it, and place it directly over the injection site(s).
To keep the bag closed I use a twisty tie from the grocery fruit/bulk section at the base of the bag after I twist the unused portion up. Then I fold it up and put a wooden clothes pin on it.

yess, all the strains you keep saying are all the same species. All the same species use the same conditions. Use either the rye bag or the corn bag, either will work well. The strains such as B+, amazon, creeper, etc.. do not matter. They are all psilocybe cubensis. They are all grain lovers.

yes you can, casing is much better, but you can fruit directly from the bag.

^^ you know from experince and/or growlogs?
SWIM is thinking of putting mycobag cakes into a version of "the poor mans pod"
SWIM might case them and put them in there possibly
but the yeild would be much higher just by taking the cakes out the bags and putting them in the pod?
