contamination? help.

ok, i know this isnt the contam forum, but check this out:

i had some cubies in a zip-lock bag that were apparently not completely dry and now there is pale blue fuzz growing on a couple of them.
is this some dangerous shit or is mycelium just trying to form and retake these fruits?

i'm afraid to find out the only other way i know how, and i am most grateful for any help you have.

Well, it sound to me like it's mycelium. It could be mold, however, growing because there's moisture in the mushrooms. Scrape it off, and the shrooms should be fine. Dry them a bit more.

yeap.... what shiznit said... scrape it off, and dry them out again..... just be VERY FUCKING SURE, that they are BONE DRY this time.... you don't want to risk it again!

Don't take the risk. Get rid of the ones with the blue fuzz and properly dry the rest of your shrooms with dessicant. When drying, put them under a fan for at least 24 hours, then dry with dessicant until they are bone dry.
