Cool Mist techniques

I am thinking of using a cool mist humidifier to control the humidity in the terrarium. My question is, I have seen pics of several setups, and people reccomend not using on/off ratio to control the amount of humidity, but rather use some form of valve.

Has anyone done this, or have any suggestions?

Hmm very interesting :) gives me lots of good ideas.

It doesn't really solve my problem much though - in fact, it adds another dimension to it:

These designs combine both stale air replacement and humidity in the same 'duct'. There must be an easy way to separate the two functions. Then you really could have an environment with completely independent controls:

- Humidity
- Temperature
- Airflow

I dont think you can seperate the two functions. also search for posts by club99, mcman and psilocybe cubensis they have all man posts about their setups and how they utilised coolmists, etc

Im not sure how the valve works yet...but it club99s setup with one duct but a filtered air pump T'd to the air line...that way air is always going with as much or little humidity as needed...
