Experimental - Growing with syrian rue seeds

Using pure syrian rue seeds as subsrate without pasturizing or appling heat, microwave etc etc.

In jar style (PF).

As the seeds are contam free as they have been dried in the sun.

But never use North Americanized rue. Always go for the Middle East stuff.

Can any experts tell me this?

I do this all for educational human rites.

How does drying them in the sun stop them from getting contaminated?

It has already been sun dried when you get it. This is how these seeds come.

NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!

Bacterial and mushroom spores are all around us! Sun-drying or not the seeds ,handling them contaminates them.THe lil guy who put em in a bag for you,you opening the bag to have a look or remove some for smoking,eating looking at ,all contaminates it.

Try pasturizing a BRF jar then emptying its content in a bag ,handling it and putting it back in the jar.Will it contaminate? Try it and you will find out!

(Now,please dont give me a nobel for the above!)

Some questions:

When we speak about an experiment there must be some theory behind it and some methodology.

What is your theory for running this "experiment" and what is your methodology?

Keep also in mind that the methodology many times needs to be very well calculted as far as math is concerned IF YOUR ONLY WAY OF VERYFYING RESULTS IS BIOASSAY! (I will let you ponder on this a bit,just giving you a clue : Search for DPT addition in the substrate in this forum and when you find it have a look at my post below)

What is the point with Syrian Rue? Are you hoping your mushrooms will suck up the Harmaline?

Yea sorry soma your intentions are good but your results will show other wise.. Im preaty sure syrian rue would have too many oils in the seeds to be a stable growing medium.. And I think harmaline would have to be a persecure(Sp?) of something in the mushrooms, to be absorbed. Try adding alittle Mimosa bark to your substrate that will bring you a smile.. or two
