Just wondering if any one can explain exactly what causes fat arses...(light, CO2 or what?) Cheers

First and most important, it?s a strain specific thing. Some strains make fatasses.
Then, much light also stunts the lengt growth of mushroms.
High CO2 levels support elongated growth.

No, ecuadorians are not normally fat assed, but they can be if the environment is altered (less light, etc)

less light? Im pretty sure that my fat arses are caused by light refllection - ie, too much light...

Yeah, light coming from all around them (from a container that is completely clear) can cause fatties too. But can't little light cause them as well? I don't know, just make sure your terrarium isn't clear, only the top. Give them lots of light...

Yeah - i had light coming in at the top, but aluminum foil around the sides and bottom which i think is reflective

the reason for fat asses is too much water. strain has a
lil to do w/ assing but thats only if the cake got alot of
water.
