Place them in a cabinet where they will stay dark and warm. Yes leaving foil on top of lids is relatively good to keep dust and such from landing on lids.
If you have a cabinet above an oven or fridge is good place due to they give off some heat to act as incubator.

Any information I give is not intended to aide you in the production of potentialy illegal substances !None of my exp comes from growing illegal varities , so take it as you will .
So with that said here is our mission statement .

I use foil over my lids with holes, I remove the foil when growth seems stalled, after about 3 weeks.

Here is my incubation chamber above my stove. Those are agar jars not cakes. The right side has a cookie sheet that is upside-down with a 5w terrarium heater pad under it, stuck to the tray. The left side is a 10w coffee mug warmer with a jar of water that has anti-bacterial soap added to it. (Provides semi-sterile humidity, keeping it a nice 50%-60% inside there.) The walls are lined with thermal-radiant bubble-insulation. All that is hooked up to a temprature controller designed for iguanas/reptiles.
