Help!
    #3760752 - 02/10/05 09:37 AM (12 years, 1 month ago)

I'm up here in Northern Florida and it lightly rained this morning. Temperatures are cool-mild and I drove past a place I wanted to check out this morning. Turns out on the side of the road right by the fence, there was a big long line of cow dug with cows walking all over. The area; however, is composed of trees and on the ground it's just dirt and tree leaves...no grass! Is it still possible to get mushrooms on this type of turf, or should I give up and look for a pasture with GRASS? Thanks!

The important thing to remember is that they grow in dung, regardless of what it sits on. Moisture is also key.
