To anyone who is familiar with 3M's or Captain Max's spores:

Can you recommend a particular strain for a beginner? And why?

Any P.Cubensis starin is good for the beginner, so ALL of 3m's and Max's spores are good to go with (except Max's Psilocybe cyanescens)

Just read about the various strains, and pick one you like.
Some are big, some grow in clumps, etc. They are all P.Cubensis, they just look a bit different.

max sent me 3 syringes labeled "CUB", "CUB", and "Matias Romero" all three are cubes and all three work great for both beginners and experienced mycologists
