Liberty Cap growth

I found some Liberty Caps growing in a park; before I could pick them the grass was mowed. Any chance they'll come back, if so how fast do they grow, or am I screwed.

If you found liberty caps, then they will definitely come back. It's only August and they'll fruit at least until Halloween.

Cool. There's still some sheep fields I want to check out, but they're a ways off when all you have is a bike. The park with the caps is 5 minutes away, and is kind of cool that they grow on state owned-public land... not to meantion our highschool field :-)
