Hey all, Just thought I'd share some pics from a beautiful San Pedro var Juuls Giant, which I found in the garden of the foremans cottage at an orchard I was working on. It has about 6 huge, fat branches on it, but the guy said it used to have even more but he gave some away to friends. It had about 50 open flowers on it, with many that had already died, and still with new buds forming. Quite an amazing sight, and very aromatic! Anyway, here's some pics.
The whole cactus - about 8 ft tall.

A nice flower.

Another nice flower - notice the bee - they were loving it. Pedro honey, anyone?

Is there something I can do to my pedro to get it to flower? Not necessarily like that, but just to simply flower at all. Sorry if this happens to be a stupid question, but it has been a while since I have put any attention into San Pedro.

Firstly, be sure that its in a decent sized pot (or in th ground if conditions permit). see my other cactus thread here for info on a good soil mix. next, you need to make sure they get a good amount of ferts. for growth, pedroes love nitrogen (N), thats why i put horse shit into my soil mix as well as giving them liquid organic ferts with N in them. For flowering, they need to get a bit of phosphorus (P), so when the springtime arrives and you start to fert and water them again, give them some P, especially the ones that are potential candidates for flowering (large healthy specimens). Hope this helps - good luck!
