gooey looking mycilium?

I innoculated 12 jars about 10 days ago and in one of the jars on more then half of the visable surface area there is something that looks kinda cummy(thats the only thing i can think of that remotly looks like it) and is not real bright white like the mycilium in the other jars. It doesnt have a bad odor nor does it have any brown, green, black, or reddish coloration to it. Its more of a off white very slightly yellowish color. Is this mycilium or some kind of contamination? Thanks in advance.

Has it got a greyish tinge to it? If so and it's spreading really fast it might be cobweb mold.
But if there's no disagreeable smell it might be ok. Who here is the Official Contam Expert?! (lol)
When my jars were beginning to be covered, the mycellium wasn't bright white all over at first - it has to build up to a thickness slowly, gradually covering the substrate more each day; but it was always pretty white at the innoculation points, 'tho.

But maybe since it's not like the other jars, just keep it quarantined from the others and watch to see what happens...good luck :wink:
