Yes, 1 cup = 1/2 pint = 1/4 quart = 1/8 gallon = 236 ml .

Quater-Pint jars are 125ML
Half-Pint jars are 250ML
Pint jars are 500ML

I think the difference is because its a US pint, not a UK pint.
There slightly different sizes (just to confuse you more.)
