Growing Tek's .. a question

I was under the impression that the cake method was the only way to grow mushrooms. How do you grow them just from trays w/ perlite and the sort? I thought that contam risk was higher if the colonization process didnt occur in a sterile environment such as the jars.

check out the grow/find section and look under casings. I'd recommend the plain verm ones. I use them and get decent results, enough for me and some of my friends :).
