As you know I cut pups off my Pedro and planted the main branch in the ground.



The pups have since calloused and been placed in containers for rooting.. after rooting they will be planted under the main branch/.

those are peat pots. you can get them in the spring at any garden center.
the advantages of them are that you can directly plant the containers into the ground, and the young plants roots will grow through the peat, and then after a while the container will break down. usually used for quick growing annuals, or pot, and i guess it would be cool for cacti.

yes.. peat pots are nice for growing cuttings :smile:
