Ooops? Casing question

I cover my casing containers and put them in a dark warm place. Now that I a m looking back on casing teqhniques no one mentions covering them. I use the saran wrap, foil, etc.
I thought this was to keep C02 high. Am I wrong should I leave them uncovered in a warm dark place?

I did not pu this in general because I felt I need advanced advice

Wipe your brow and take a deep breath things will be fine. There is no problem with covering them.

And this does go in the cultivation forum but I am sure it will slide.

No, you?re doing right, covered with alu foil in warm place for about 3-4 days.
