Little Pins vs larger shrooms
    #3744565 - 02/07/05 10:49 AM (11 years, 11 months ago)

A friends mushrooms are just starting to grow, and as you can see in the picture below, a few have sprouted up a lot faster than the others. This is his first grow so it's a bit new.

Once the veil tears, should the larger ones be picked so as to not take nutrients from the smaller ones? Or will that not matter? Is there anything else that can be done to try and insure that most of those little pins get mature as opposed to aborting?

He's growing these in a PMP, he fans it out once a day and mists very rarely, so if you see any signs of too much co2 or not enough humidity, i'll let him know  :tongue2:

let them get bigger and wait til the caps start to open, by then the smaller ones will be getting up there in size.
