im makign my ultimate chillout cd with music that is really lax but still has a good catchy flowing beat.
here are some songs that i am putting on it. id love some suggestions from everyone. *means one of my favs. i really like piano and good guitars.
kinks-waterloo sunset* & set me free cure-love song eagles-desperado* magic carpet ride sublime-santeria & lovin is what i got slightly stoopid-coolie man neil young-old man floyd-comfortably numb (of course) ther ewill eb more of floyd, so dotn ened any suggestions there ) rollign stones-satisfaction, miss you incubus-drive, aquarius transmission zeplin-simple man u2-mysterious ways, vertigo* tracy chapman-fast car*
thats sorta teh idea. tehres more but i could go on forever.
any suggestions? stoner music is cool...but stuff where they are completely cracked out im avoiding (ie some of hendrix, doors etc). too fast and sporadic for this cd. lookign for a completely reelaxing cd i can jsut lay back and zone out to for hours.
thanks for any input.

Another Neil Young song is "needle adn the spoon" I think thats the name its on his unplugged cd adn its about heroin.
"Hey Jude" and "Black Bird" Beatles
"Mona lisa and Mad Hatters" "Rocket Man" and "Tiny Dancer" Elton John
"Tears in heaven" Eric Clapton
"Little Wing" and "Castles Made of Sand" Hendrix Both of these are very mellow hendrix songs.
"Vietnam Song" Country Joe and the Fish. It might be called "What are we fighting for" Im not sure. (Best anti-nam anthem in my opinion)
"Going to California" Zeppelin.
"Ballad of Curtis Lowe" Lynyrd Skynryd
Thats all for now peace dude

Kinks...nice.
You should play "21st Century Schizoid Man" by King Crimson. I just got done listening to that song a little while ago. They're a really good progressive rock band from the seventies, and that is one of their best songs IMO.

Yea thats its pinball good call, and it is a great song.
Good call on Jack Johnson by the way he's kick ass.
Heres a few more
"Something" Beatles, This is a fucking amazing song, ahh so great.
That new Jet song is very kick ass sort of "beatles-eque" Sorry i cant remember teh title, but last i saw it was number 3 on the Fuse countdown.
Just about anything off of CSN&Young Deja vu album, but these especially; "Helpless" "Our House"(<--My personal favorite) "4+20" "Deja Vu"
"Seven Spanish Angels" "Crazy" "Blue eyes crying in the rain" Willie Nelson
"Georgia on my mind" Ray Charles.
Peace

You could buy records, 3 or 4 bucks at half price book store, adn in my opinion they sound better. Not "clean" like a cd but if played on a good turntable with an elipitical needle the range and tonal qualities are definately better IMO. Peace

You clearly have no idea about what you're talking about. Don't generalize and don't bash what you don't know.
There is lots of sucky electronica. There is lots of amazing electronica.
'all electronic music sucks' = 'all analogic music sucks' = 'all drugs are bad' = stupid prejudices.
