Tin foil during PC
    #3742768 - 02/06/05 11:28 PM (11 years, 9 months ago)

I just PC'd my popcorn jars a few days ago and they have holes in the lid covered by tyvek and polyfil. I didn't put aluminium foil over the tops when I PC'd tho. Would that dry the grain out or anything?

Already did em. Oh well, we'll see what happens. There doesn't appear to be any standing water and the popcorn doesn't look dried out. So hopefully at worst it'll just slow growth a few days.

Tyvek will work ALMOST as good as tinfoil although nonwhere near the same as keeping moisture out. The joy of this hobby is trial and error. NO-ONE has exact answers....NO-ONE!!!!

Yeah, you're definately right. I don't think it'll be too bad, I mean, I had 3 holes nailed in the metal lid, 2 layers of tyvek, and polyfil. I'm not going to stop the grow because of this, I'm going to see what happens with it.
