Pins showing on partially overlayed casings. Should I scratch?
    #3741751 - 02/06/05 05:39 PM (19 years, 13 days ago)

I have 4 casings that had a lot of pooling water on them b/c i didn't have enough air exchange. Now these casings are partially overlayed but some pins are starting to show. This pinset is nothing like it should be, basically these casings were showing mycelium in the valleys equally, so there should have been a very even pinset.

Should i scratch these casings even though they've started to pin? Will it confuse the casings to revert them back to veg after scratching? Or should i wait until after this flush to scratch?

BTW, these casing are about 4 inches deep and about 5L of substrate was used in each tray. THerefore, b/c they are so large, i don't want to do anything that would reduce their potential.

Wait till next flush and see if it needs scratching. Do so then, only if you need to.
