There's so many variation's on seed teks, its hard to settle on a favorite. My friend personally uses whole brown rice more often with better results. But an easy to follow tek would be to Take about four cups of Finch seed and pour them in a pot. Fill with enough water to cover the seeds by about an inch. Let this simmer on about medium heat, stirring every now and again. Add water as needed to keep the seed wet and moist. The seed will absorb the water and double in size. After it has done so, let it cool and drain off any excess water. Mix in about 1 1/2 cup's of vermiculite.  Fill your pint jars about 1/3 of the way up and put the lids on rubberside up. Pressure cook for 45 minutes at 15 PSI. Then let cool and innoculate as usual.:)
