jar size
    #373782 - 08/17/01 05:13 PM (23 years, 1 month ago)

In the magic mushrom growers guide it says to use half pint or one pint jars. when i went to buy some the sizes were in ounces so i got four ounce sized jars when i got home i found out that four ounces is only equal to a quarter pint my question is will these jars work. I dont see why not but i just want to be sure

Peace

I used some 1/4 pint myself. They colonized a bt faster than the 1/2 pints and worked great for caseing. however the 1 i left as a cake did not produce a lot. either not enough nutrients or water i'm not sure.

do you think that would work i just wasent sure because if you have read the MMGG it says to add more of each if you are useing 1 pint jars. thats why i assumed that you would use less if you are useing smaller jars thanks for your help man peace

hey again canna
Ok you got me there, I?m not sure how much water that will escape from those small jars. It seems like you will have to do a test run. Good luck.
When you got the right formula let us now. peace out

i say you just let it colonize and see how it goes, i would suggest lthough useing a caseing tek for max fruiting.
