Yes.

However, this would not be wise.

You should let the experience determine whether or not alcohol is appropriate for the occassion. More than likely you will end up fighting the experience.

I hate alcohol. However, when I did drink, I never really liked the psilocybin/alcohol mix. I thought alcohol was pretty cool when on acid. I could drink forever and keep on going.

Well, alcohol + lil weed is very good, too much can be very shitty.

mushrooms + alcohol, never tried, but im presumin, depending on how much alcohol you drink, it would make your trip very unpredictable. As when your drunk just little things can send you real happy but can also make you super sad at a flash of a thought. Not wise IMO.

Not very good combination at all imo,

A friend of mine had serious mental problems after consuming a bowl of psilocybin mushrooms along with a bottle of wine....

Police found him running naked in a park somewhere in the uk (he was a student there), his parents had to come and take him back to his country

Since then, he was going out of the house only with his parents, wasn't allowed to use any psychoactives of course, and staretd heavy medicine for his mental problems...

He got pretty fat and is now very very slow and seems out of energy and dynamics....

I think we all need to respect these powerfull substances and use them one by one, they are powerfull enough as they are....and we can also understand them better as they are.

I do believe that some things are very well combined, but i don't think this is the case with alcohol & shrooms.

take care

If you trip properly, alcohol does seem to suck. It just detracts from the trip, in my experience. However, getting really drunk and then taking about a gram of shrooms is great fun in a club or something, I reckon. It reminds me of E.

A couple weeks ago I got really drunk, and a friend offered me a couple grams of shrooms.  It was fantastic.  2 grams isn't really enough to really get me going, but that amount really added to my drunkness and actually cleared my head from the foggy inebriated state I was in, I kept the feeling, but regained control.  I'd have to say it all depends on how much of each you're doing/drinking, and how your tolerance normally is towards each, seperate.

Oh, and hi, I'm new

i sometimes do enjoy having a drink (or even two) while tripping...
but i don't like getting drunk (or even trying to) while tripping...

but a mug of cold brew...
or a glass of wine...
or a snifter of cognac...
or a cordial glass of gran marnier...

can surely tickle the enhanced senses, if used in moderation, eh?

ymmv...

Wow, that bottle of wine must've really put him over the edge

If you are an experienced drinker, it's ok.  Familiarity with yourself under the influence of different substances is ONE key to not getting yourself in trouble.  What is worth paying attention to is hydration.  Alcohol dehydrates the bod, so make an effort to drink a glass of water occasionally.

There are no interactions with alcohol and psilocybin/acid as there are with alcohol and barbituates/narcotics/benzos, if this is your concern.

For what it's worth, I've done acid/shrooms hundreds of times over the past 20 years... and most of the time had a beer in my hand.

Just because you 've done it so many times without getn into trouble, doesn't mean its ok to do it.

What's the reason to not eat or drink anything before a trip, if its ok to consume something nasty like alcohol while intoxicated?

I find it disrespectfull and i think it is dirt thrown into the crystal psilocybin trip.

People who use mushrooms as a recreational tool, seem to agree with you, but this approach doesn't contain respect to the powers of the mushroom, and its holy teachings.

The people who get into trouble by using mind altering substances, are usually those, who don't use them with spiritual respect.
