Right now I have a Citizen chronograph but over the years it's gotten pretty beat up... I'm thinking about replacing it with a Casio Waveceptor which has some cool features and is pretty cheap. What kind of watches do you guys have?

for some reason, i cant stand wrist watches. having something attached to my arms or fingers drives me crazy. i am just now getting used to my wedding ring.
i carry my greatgrandfathers pocket watch. it is a 21 jewel elgin and only looses about 4 minutes a year which is pretty good, imo. even before i started to carry this one, i carried a swiss army pocket watch in high school and college.

I have a Casio Twincept that I love. They only made them for a short time, I don't know why. It's digital/analog with the digi display (with a calendar and everything) overtop of the analog face. You can turn it off and it just looks like an analog watch.

Suuntro Mosquito. Actually a dive computer in the shape of a watch, but I use it for a watch when not diving.

I have a $10 casio calculator watch.
I wish I had a digital graphing calculator pocket watch.

I have a large collection of wristwatches, being a watchmaker and all. My favorite right now that I wear is a restored,(by me), Omega manual-automatic three register chronograph Seamaster. I love it. I say down with Rolexes...For the money you spend to buy one, you could get a much nicer manual/automatic vintage wristwatch that will always aprreciate in value. Even the best Rolexes can't keep as good of time per day as a $15 Wal-Mart "special" quartz watch.

I have a sundial watch. No need for a signal from an atomic clock or even batteries. Just our nearest nuclear inferno.
I love watches. I've kept almost every watch I've ever had. My Casio G-Shock is one of my favorites. You'll love it.

i love my sexy pulsar http://www.pulsarwatches.com/Product.aspx?productId=102&subcollectionID=8
its thinner than the picture indicates, and my fave part is that the body is just as thin as the band, the whole watch lays flat on your wrist, not a bulky chunk of ugly like most modern mens watches.
Too bad i dont like wearing this 100$ peice of jewelry as i live in a bad neighborhood, so i also like my came-in-a-box-of-frosted-flakes spongebob velcro digital watch.

come to think of it, an analog graphig calculator watch would be quite novel!

Hey man, maybe you can answer my questions since your a watchmaker:
Can I "install" a compass into a wrist watch?
Do any watchmakers sell watches with compasses?

I got the WR 100, and the Sailhawk from Citizen. They are great watches, but not heavy enough. I like weight on my wrists.
The seiko watches are nice as well. If I had money, I would go Cartier.... but Im not cosa nostra.
