Has anyone used this bulb before? It's a 60watt plant light, "for the acceleration of indoor plant growth." I haven't been able to find much more info on it regarding its light spectrum, etc. Think it would be ok to use for lighting?

Groow lights are not needed for mushrooms. They only need a small amount of light per day to trigger pinning and keep them growing straight.A little indirect sunlight daily will do.I use a 15 watt flourecent for 10 muinutes a day, been doing it that way forabout 6 years now and never had any problems.

Butternut squash are softer than acorn or other types of squash, which makes them easier to cut and prepare.

most any light will work, provided it doesn't get too hot...blue spectrum may be more beneficial...but dude...if you need to ask its not worth worrying about...use whatever...just don't overheat your terrarium...i'd suggest fluoro or a small incandescent light, like a refridgerator bulb if its something that will be integrated into the setup and not just in a lamp on the table above it....hell, use christmas lights, its about time to take the tree down anyways, right? but thats just my house....good luck with all that...
