If there is anyone out there that has come across this post and is familiar with some of the old grimoires, occult, and various symbology therein, I was wondering what you might get out of this simple image.
you know, with all the sigils and seals and such and such.
I'm guessing the triangle with the passages in it is a rendering of a pyramid. Above it, the "all-seeing eye" of Hermetic tradition. For another example of this combination, check the back of a one dollar bill. Below you have the symbol for Mercury, which here again probably has a Hermetic (rather than alchemical or astrological) connotation. The crosses might mark this as the product of some esoteric tradition dating back (or claiming to date back) to the crusades.
That's as far as I can get with it. Could as easily be a modern bit of juvenilia for all I know.
As a seeker of sorts, I have entered into many a modest enlightenment of sorts. Illumination within the womb of chaos, or the light within the darkness. Listen, usually I wouldn't even have posted a topic of this nature, simply for the fact that I've come across one too many people that just seem to take what I say and turn it around and pick it apart unnecessarily.
Yet I've finally come under the realization that it doesn't matter. So it doesn't get to me like it did.
Actually, this image came from my own mind. It just came to me part by part sort of until it was done. I realize that it may have meaning to me but it's not the meaning, yet what it may represent that I am curious in and why I have reached out for opinions of sorts.
I had to get it on the computer using ms paint so yeah, I'm not much of an artist with that program so It might look kind of childish.
don't worry, an opinion or idea of something needn't be taken as an insult.
I never really thought of it as a pyramid, it was just the triangular part to me. As a matter of fact maybe even having the triangular shape emphasising in a way, a trinity, or sorts. Or as you mentioned it does resemble that silly pyramid and eye on the dollar bill, I assure you though, that is not where it came from, it came from conscience. Still though I don't know yet. I mean even though it came from me, it remains in obscurity. It may sound stupid to many but that's something I have little control over, lol. Still Was just wondering if the way it was put together has any specific representation.
So I actually do expect to be criticized for it. So it's quite alright either way.
eye of horus (a gnostic eye) over the hanged man (intellectual freedom) in the tree of life (white magick) over mercury (hermetic seal) scientific method or at least some respect of traditions of knowledge and healing.
Dual gammadian shamrocks indicate the infinite in the small or some local private meaning.
the hanged man relates to confidence in being regarded as different by the public.
