Psilocybin cubensis in Florida
    #3734650 - 02/05/05 11:26 AM (12 years, 2 months ago)

I've been told that P. cubensis grows naturally in parts of southern florida, could anyone provide more specific location information (Possibly cities, towns, parks, districts, etc), possibly close to the Tampa/Saint Petersburg area. Thank you in advance.
PS: I tried to make this post conform to the guidelines specified, but if I am asking for anything too specific, I appologize.

yes, do that.

thanks for reading the rules before posting, but fishing for locations here really gets on my nerves. I don't care if the rules say it's alright to ask for towns/parks and shit, it usually just makes you look lazy and like you haven't tried to learn or find anything on your own. really, how hard can it be to find a few quiet cow fields and go for some walks? somehow I doubt it's hard enough to justify making this post asking for experienced people to publically give up their hard-earned picking grounds so you can go find some shrooms without having to actually look or learn anything.

so find your own places to pick please, we aren't here to give out locations.

DH

I don't know about anybody else, but I looked for years before I found my first actives, and I learned quite a bit about mushrooms along the way. The search is a spiritual journey of sorts and I consider my patches to be sacred places. Obviously I will not reveal their location to just anyone.

I live in north east fla all my life and searched plenty...noone wants to give up there earnings for a poss loss of entry due to gettin caught or ruining the rooting sys..i only have two fields that me and my friend share. they're plenty of cow fields here its truly a farmers town, but majority of them use salt blocks and/or toooo close to houses!!!
you need to think hard man use your resources it took me years to find the rite sites with minimum consequences! and i live in the same town i found them in, gotta learn to earn

This thread is four and a half years old. And here goes the "salting" nonsense again. So you truly believe that the presence of a salt block (which is used for the cattle to lick on them) prevents mushrooms from growing?

Yes. It's common in cattle farming. Salts and other minerals are vital to their well being.
