Birdseed Jar additives

I've only cases a few birdseed jars and i realy didnt liek the results i got compared to my normal brf/verm casings. i seemed to get bigger flushes from my 1/2 pint brf/verm jars then my 1 pint birdseed jars. maybe it was because i used normal wild birdseed only? i was thinking about adding brf to my birdseed jars, would this help my flushes? any other things you guys would suggest to add? any extra precautions to take to prevent clumping or other problems?

i've steeped my seed then PCed and i've just mixed the BS and water (2:1) in my jars and PCed. would it be better to steep then mix in brf or make somewhat of a brf water and do the 2:1 method? possibly try honey water? maybe use a different type of seed? just stick to brf/verm cakes?

I'd guess that adding BRF to the seed will make it stick like crazy. I almost did that last night to some rye I'm working on.

Have you tried the 9er tek. Get some good flushes off that.
