LA Cubenis Pics (Jan. 4, 2005)
    #3730431 - 02/04/05 03:12 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

I took a long lunch and went and walked through one of my more fruitful fields. It was VERY wet today and I only found a few. The sun is starting to come out and we are supposed to warm up into the 70s, so these are hopefully signs of some good fruiting to come. I have some other fields that probably aren't as wet that I may check over the next few days.

I'm saving these up for a dosing in about another 10 days or so. It's been 3 weeks since my last.

I look for fields where there are no cattle.  Many people who own lots of cattle will alternate fields.  I watch to see which field they are using and go to the other one.  You're less likely to run into cows, and much less likely to get shot at.

Well theres over 600 acres on the property I pick in,and I have only seen the cattle twice, but the main area I pick in is near the area that the cattle most frequent in the evening. Also, the people who own the land are my bro-in-laws relatives, but they never know when I go,BUT I do have permission to be there, just not from the bovine.

awesome finds and pics bro as always, But damnn your makin me jealous- " I only found a few " if thats what you call a few, I sure would love to see a " big " haul.

I havent found anything as of late here in Central Tex.. but it has rained and the temps are warming up finally- Im hopeful

and I can agree with you 110% on the no cattle thing-- One of my fav fields has no cattle of whatsoever- they are all hamburger meat now (wasnt many there tho- just like 15 if that)
