Have a growbag, its at the 26 day mark, it is about 60% colonized, it is at 82 degrees over perlite, in the dark...Ive mixed the subsrate two days ago......am I on target...or is this slow growth???

Ive never used a growbag, but I think 82 degrees is a little low. I keep my incubating temps at 86. That could be the reason for slower growth. Also, why do you have the bag over perlite?

I was told that dry conditions could dry out the inside of the bag

i wont argue, like i said, ive never used a bag before, but i was to understand the bags create their own humidity. i guess it really doesnt matter, as long as its not too humid. But anyways, my first cakes took around 3-4 weeks to colonize do to fluctuating temps. Now that i got my temp under control, it takes about 2 weeks. Try using a TiT tek for incubating. It works like a charm.

You don't put a bag over perlite during incubation stage-that won't help you at all. 26 days sounds too long, your substrate is very likely dried out. 82F is perfect for colonization.

There is alot of moisture within the bag itself...actual condensation on the bottom of the bag....lots of water droplets....what u think diver?

If you can see condensation the water content sounds right. Not sure what's causing it to take so long at this point, keep waiting I guess.

if it doesn't colonize further, break it up and case it. AFOAF did this on a halted bag and still got good results.

Did you remember to massage your sack at around 10-20%? If you didnt do it now, just grab your sack and play with it awhile to get the mycelium all mixed up and you will see a big boom in growth.

Cambodians grow like any other cube. They all grow at such a close rate, there's no way a person could tell the difference just by looking at it. People will tell you Creeper grows faster than B+ or that Asian cubes are easier to fruit than American cubes ( there is some truth to that but all are easy to fruit).
Just up your temp to 86, and don't check on it very often. I check on my spawn every three days (after an initial 5 days incubation).
Id have to say if your bag isn't done in 10 days that the spot that is un-colonized must have an invisible contam or its too wet. Maybe you should go ahead and knead your bag again since its been so long. Check the spot that isn't colonized, if it seems too wet then knead the bag and it will recover in a few days. Your call.

I've been massaging my sack for 20 minutes and my mushroom is growing, now what?
Sorry for the hijack lol I just couldnt resist. Sorry I have no info or idea why your stalled...perfect water content from the start when dealing with large amounts of grain is essential. As are all optimal conditions. You'll get it in time though! Good luck...

I wouldnt follow that advice. Being a newbie, you shouldnt risk opening uncolonized nutes to contams. Ive done it before, and it was a 50/50 chance of contam. If I were you, Ide just raise the temp to 86, and mix the bag up a bit. See what happens.
Also, I would go with casing it, just make sure you follow the teks perfect. Much better esults with casings.
