Motherboard Help
    #3727259 - 02/03/05 11:02 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

Ok, I broke this lady I work withs motherboard and I need to buy her a new one.  She has a Intel Celeron 433mhz and it's a mini atx case.  I need the cheapest one possible.  I searched at Newegg, but I don't know what MB supports her processor  Any help is greatly appreciated.

how do you break a motherboard? thats almost impossible, unless u smash or bend/break a peice off. You probably aren't gonna find many people that stock a mini atx p2/p3 celeron board.

Yea, I've discovered that now :frown:  I accidently broke off a piece, dropped the screwdriver on it. Sucks because I have never broken mine or any of my friends computers, and I've upgraded the hell outta them.  First time I work on somebody elses I fuck it up.  Ima have to try some local shops, maybe the one she bought it from, cause she had JUST bought it, i was throwin in my old 850mhz celeron trying to be nice :frown:  and the fact that she gave me the rest of her Vicodin script for doin it

Do you guys think this would work if I put a newer cheap ass processor in it.  It can be CHEAP as hell cause anything is better than the 433mhz celeron she had in there.  http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=13-186-020&DEPA=0

Or would I be better going with this? http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-185-043&depa=0  Any input appreciated

buy the pc chips, and make sure the case definatly fits mini atx and not a special variation of it
