3 questions on casing
    #372657 -

before i get to the questions, ill update you on my set up. a 30 gallon clear rubbermaid, perlite humidity...fanned 2 times daily, sometimes 3. temp 75-79. humidity 85-95%. 3 trays of cubes, all 3' deep straw cased with 1/2" coir.

question # 1....the coir layers all grew in uneven and were patched, and now are 100% colonized, have been for a few days. how long will it take to pin,a nd what do i have ot do to initiate pinning...they have been given light and pleny of fresh air and it doesnt seem to help.

#2 on one casing in some places the myceluim has turned an odd color, somewhere between sea green and aquablue...i think it might just be bluing from being touched to determine the moisture level of the casing...my friend thinks is green mold. its not slimy and is only found on the myceluim, and is not spreading to uncolonized coir. what the fuck is it?

#3 a fourth straw birck was made and cased with 2' of pasturiezed and crumbled cow dung. after a week and a half there has been no colonization of the dung. it was made similar to 3ms dung tek, only using straw im place of grain. i got tired of waiting and i scraped the layer off, flipped it over, and cased with coir...before i resorted to this, several times i used a sterile fork to make sure the dung layer was loose and airy, but still no spread of mycelia...anyone know what causes this?
