Hi.
I had a syringe with very weak spores(i supposed they died from the heat in the plane/truck in the mail) . My first batch all died from contamination because i didn't sterilized my jar/brf/etc good enough. Anyways, i started over and i got ONE spore to grow in one of my jar. So now the jar is almost all colonized but i read that the mycelium has to breed(or something) with another spore to form dikaryote. And if the mycelium formed a dikaryote then it will fruit. Did i understood well?


Also, I put some spores in an honey-water culture thingy and ONE spore worked and produced a massive blob that i broke several times(by shaking it). And i took some uncolonized jars(nothing in it) and injected some mycelium(like 10 cc for each jar) from the blob and after like 5 days these jars are almost fully colonized. So my question is will these jars fruit/pin or i'll just have a beautiful mycelium factory?

They should pin, but if they don't eat the mycelium. You can trip off of that.

how the hell did u isolate a single spore.... tahts as hard as fuck to do w/o REAL lab equipment and know how.... i mea it may LOOK like it was just one spore, but that little clumo was more likely ONE-THOUSAND
