Jazz and fungus.
    #3724677 - 02/03/05 03:07 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

I enjoy jazz quite a bit, sober or intoxicated. I've never had a chance to listen to any while shrooming, though. Its just.. never happened to come up. So I'm wondering, has anyone had any good experience listening to jazz on a trip?

Listening to Sun Ra and playing Breakout on my Atari while on mushrooms is something I am very fond of.

I recommend Miles Davis. The contrast between the calm, slow and easy music and your brain (which is usually spinning at a million miles per hour) is incredible. I have had better experiences with smooth jazz than any other genre while tripping (except pink floyd, of course).

Thank you all for the excellent suggestions. I shall make time when next I 'travel' for this express purpose.

John Mclaughin's "After the Rain" album is absolutely WONDERFUL when tripping.

I think I spelled his last name right.
