Big-time contam problem....Pleeeez help

I just innoculated 9 jars and only got 2 without any contams,, i use an alcohol flame but can`t seem to get the needle red-hot all the way. My question is would butane flame work ? ..like from a pencil torch. not a cigarette lighter. Is the flame clean enough?

sounds like you had a contaminated syringe or your jars weren't sterilized properly. it's probably not the syringe, IMO.
