All I've ever eaten are P.Cubensis(which I thought tasted horrible). Are there any Species/ strains which taste like mushrooms most people would want to eat?

Here's a question: why is it that some peopel gag when they think of the taste of psilocybe mushrooms....while others (like me) can hardly taste them? Are some of us genetically disposed to tasting bad mushrooms?

Any dried mushroom, magic or not, will taste horrible (to most people) when dry. Eat them fresh; what a difference! They taste like regular mushrooms this way. If you eat them dried, and hate the taste, then just eat them with something else and you won't notice them (except the crunchy texture in your mouth). Wash them down with orange juice, or any "strong" tasting drink... Eat them with cheese, or any flavourful food... Happpy shroomin'.

there's a big taste difference between wild growing mushrooms and homegrown, specially if you used vermiculite in the substrate.
Also the caps taste worse than the stems...
personally i can't stand the taste, so i bite small pieces of mushies and chew with the front teets, then i drink a little tea, orange juice or similers, and gulp.

due to how rare it is to find shroomies round here, if i had a bag right now the last thing i would be contemplating is how it tastes. i would just pop the fuckers in my mouth and chew, chew chew. god i wanna trip soon ...
tomorrow ill hopefully get my shrooms which ive waited oh so long for ... on friday im leavin to go to sweden for a week, so i hope i can hook the shit tomorrow

I think dried shrooms are 20 times more delicious than the mushrooms that come on pizza. I've always loved the taste of mushrooms. now i feel like some cream of mushroom soup...

i have ALWAYS hated the taste of mushrooms, but psychedelic mushies have a different kind of taste, more like an energy feeling in my jaw awaiting the trip ... not a bad feeling, i might add.

I have to say also i like the taste of mushrooms also, but i have some friends who get sick from the taste of them, but there just weenies

I had a fresh cambodians the other day.The taste was nice and mild.I really enjoyed it. They taste much better fresh than dried, and they are more potent.

Cubensis don't taste bad at all to me.
I think you will appreciate the flavor if you have ever eaten Peyote, which is the most bitter substance that you can imagine or Ayahuasca, which is incredibly foul and almost impossible to drink without gagging.
Try either of those and cubes will taste like candy!

gel caps, thats all u need, i can't stand the taste either, and never really wanted to pay more $$ for gel caps but fuck 1st i did it was worth it. No taste nothing and u cut down on the surface area u have to place in mouth. I get about 800mg of mush into a gel cap so thats like 12.5 caps per 10g dose, takes like 5 seconds to swallow. Only prob is they take maybe 30-1hr to kick in.
