cool mist grow chamber

AF has got a big plastic cooler on wheels. The kind in gas stations that have clear plastic lids with pop on ice inside. Well he is going to add a cool mist to it. He is thinking about getting some flex hose and going through the side of the cooler. Then curl it into a loop around the base, and poke some holes for the mist to exit. Got that.

3 questions
1) What size of hose should i get?
2) Should I get some kind of valve to regulate the mist?
3) How long do I keep it running?
4) Should I use perlite in combonation?

why use a flex hose?
you can build a terrarium with professional growrooms specs.

btw,
1-you can use a 1" for the duct from the mister to the terrarium, and a 3/4" for the internal duct.

2-yes,2. one for regulate the air/umidity amount and one to regulate total air exchanges

3-24/7

4-no, put you should put a little layer of dry perlite to absorb the condensation/drippings

not yet...i have maz casings colonizing right now...i'll put them in the terrarium in a few days...

i used a cooler in this way with a US-humidifier. i used a flex hose with at least 0.5 cm diameter, thus the hose does not get closed because of the condensation. i dont made a loop inside, its enough to put the end of the hose inside.
let it work for 15 minutes a day at full power is really enough.
