Hello all, I orginally got interested in shrooms some years ago in middle school when i went to Philmont scout ranch and saw shrooms growing on buro dung everywhere. I came home and read about them and forgot about them in time. So now its been a few years later and I'm in high school and science fair comes up and am forced to enter. I decide that I was going to grow some gormet mushrooms, so I read the pf tek and
and get some spore print from mushrooms I bought at the store. ( Black mushrooms and portabello) and then I applied the pf tek. After science project I said I was going to continue to grow mushrooms, I then decided to order some spores and grow them. I am waiting on my pressure cooker which im getting tonight. Then i shall inoculate 7 jars.

thats cool, i've read that there can be some money in selling some of those gourmet mushrooms if you can find a restaurant that is interested in buying them, and not to mention that some of them are pretty tasty. good luck

I wish I did a mushroom project for school... I would have saved the display and kept it up on a wall.

I have many many questions...
