Damned grain clumps everytime?

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! I`ve tried Rye berries.... wheat....... and Brown rice.. no matter what I do when I shake the grain it clumps I`ve tried less water... more water... always clumps into a solid mass. Do I wait till it cools completely... warm.... what? any suggestions as to when to shake the jars to separate the grain or recipe amounts of water to grain would be much appreciated. thanks in advance :smile:

if your going to case, why not use no water at all, just the water from your spore syringe?
