Quart Jar Method?

I was reading on the site about a tek which involves incubating and growing the mushrooms right inside of a quart jar on brown rice. I cannot grow in a terrarium due to others in the house so i need sumtin secretive kinda. I was wondering if i should even wate my time trying this tek? And if not why not, I am still trying to learn. thanks all have a good day

Well, if you want to grow secretly, try the "invitro" tek... Basically, you make 1/2 pint jars as per the PF/MMGG tek, and instead of birthing them, you let them grow in the jar...

thanks for that, but what i am asking is if the "Quart Jar method" works or if it doesnt. I have already purchased the jars. If that kinda thing doesnt workt hen can anyone think of a way to scrounge the jars?

I had poor success trying the Quart Jar method with Thai Koh Samui. I got a lot of little 1/2" aborts that never matured... I did however trip balls when I extracted all of the mycelium out of the jars and drank it, not recommended though.... Good luck, I would try the tried and true PF method....
