Taiwan variety

I was at the Allman Brothers concert at Red Rocks in Denver on Sunday and some guy was selling what he claimed to be Taiwan kabooms. I cross-examined him with some questions to see if he was a grower or a poser. Seemed to know the right answers and tec stuff. Has anyone heard of Taiwan variety? My friends who missed my handout were quite pleased with his wares.

He might have been getting Taiwan and Thailand mixed up... there are about 3 different varieties of Thai cubs going around...

That's what I thought he was talking about also, but he was adamant about them bein' Taiwans.

There is a Taiwan strain.. my friend in Taiwan calls it the Formosan strain. It colonizes real fast but they have small fruits. They are pretty potent from what I hear.
