I'm just curious as to what these are
these were in a pasture, I didn't touch any white mushrooms because of that death angel one that I read about and I read that you aren't even supposed to touch it and I know it's white LOL
The next mushrooms were also in the pasture. Despite the size of their caps, they were not more than 2 inches from the ground. Their stems were all loaded with some weird larvae. Very weird, like the mushrooms are just their to incubate them or something. You can actually see one of the bugs on the big mushroom on the right.
The last scan I have is just 2 mushrooms growing on a decaying tree. Their stems are like a sponge.

Not to sure about the 2nd and 3rd ones... But I have a few questions about the first one
1. did it have a veil?
2. did it have a volva(bulb at base of stem)?
If you answered yes to these questions, it damn well could be a Amanita phalloides aka Death cap. Death caps look alot like the mushroom pictured, the Destroying angles are pure white with veil and volva.
Peace out,

Did you just lay the shrooms on the scanner?
Does that give enough detail for IDing them? Does the shroomery provide a place for hosting photos for message board hosting?

The mushrooms in the first pic didn't have any remnance of a veil. I did find some white mushrooms that were bulbous at the bottom with veils but I put them in a cardboard box with some black spored mushrooms that appear to melt soon after picking. I didn't want to scan the white mushrooms that were smeared with black spores.
To answer the other questions, yeah I threw them on my scanner and I uploaded them at http://www.digitalfridge.com
