Gring it up real fine, mix it up drink fast (I would only use about half of the iced tea) then do a little risne and drink that. No potency loss, kicks in real fast.

yeah, I read the abs diet book. It's a good plan. I have a hard time following it to the t, but it's really helped me to focus on better foods and better yet the types of foods to not eat.

Quote:
If anything, powder in juice will hit you faster- almost as fast as tea
Ground mush will be abosorbed into your system faster because you've increased the surface area of mush particles vs just munching whole ones. Buying empty gel caps from the health food store is a good way to administer grounds. Tea speeds it up because you are raising the temperature of your gut and this also speeds up absorption.

please tell me how temp in stomach can spead up the process and if it does tell me the temp of the stomach. i find it hard to believe this info cause how hot is the stomach could tea really increase the temp ? (i would imagine it to be pretty damn hot tea), and second it seems it has more to do with acids instead of heat.

Drinking hot tea which is generally above physiogical temp causes vasodilation of blood vessels in the gut to increase absoption during a given time. It also speeds up all metabolic rates of enzymes including transporter proteins reposible for moving substances across the epithelium which are not otherwise permeable to cell membranes, either by active transport or coupled flow with water.

alright so yes the temp will dialate blood vessels, but what about the effects of caffeine? it is a known vasoconstrictor. now the heat will be an immediate effect and the caffeine a long term effect so i really dont see how heat can help in this scenario. isnt it just green tea that raises metabolism? oh and maybe oolong or however you spell that kind. we can probably play this game (which is alot of fun, really) for a while, but ultimatly it doesnt matter cause you can make shroom tea/juice and trip. so anywho i like your knowledge 5 to you.

I've been grinding and blending with oj and trust me it'll make you think your shrooms potency just tripled, actually I think it's just the bioavailability of the chemicals in the smaller particles. 15 minutes tops to be totally trippin. Think of grinding like the closest you can get to intravenous injection and fresh like a time-released vitamin. Personally I like to ramp in slower. But grinding is definitely more efficient. I think a lot of doses that I took that didn't get me off that were not dry/ground could have been better this way.

I agree, temperature effects wont be that noticeable, theres to many other factors at play to make a blanket statement. Grinding though should def speed the come-up since you dont have to wait for your stomach to mechanically churn the injested mush material into solution.

Last time my friend and I had a bad feeling about our dose after a few minutes and decided to purge. It was amazing our stomachs were empty, everything was quickly absorbed.
